Events and Notices:

January 29 - Family Math Game Night - 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Cottonwood's Multipurpose Room

February 4 - 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - Kindergarten registration begins for 2015-16.  To register for kindergarten, children must be 5 years old on or before August 31.  Parents should bring a copy of their child's state-issued birth certificate, proof of immunization and verification of their current address. 

Calling all talented Cottonwood 3rd through 6th grade students:  Do you sing?  Dance?  Juggle?  Play an instrument, guitar or piano?  Do gymnastics or martial arts?  Do you have another type of act you would like to perform?  You are invited to audtion for Cottonwood's Variety Show.  You may request audition forms from Mr. Leshley or Mrs. Smith.  Audition forms are due no later than January 29th.

Attention Parents of 5th and 6th graders:  All 5th and 6th graders at Cottonwood are invited to try out for the CKSD Eastside Elementary Jazz Ensemble.  Auditions start February 2nd.  More information is available at this link:  http://www.cksd.wednet.edu/PDF/2014-15/ElemJazzBand.pdf.  You may also contact the orchestra teacher, Jeremy Faxon, at 662-2685 or jeremyf@cksd.wednet.edu.

         Filing a Grievance 

Students, and/or parents, volunteers, staff or other individuals acting on behalf of students of the District are eligible to participate in the District's complaint procedure. This complaint procedure is designed to assure that the resolution of real or alleged violations shall be directed toward a just solution that is satisfactory to the complainant, the administration, and the board of directors.
